Homegrown automaker Bajaj Auto has had a phenomenal achievement. Its Maxima three-wheeler cargo vehicle has achieved a whopping 45% market share between April and November 2021.
This feat has been achieved in just a matter of three from the date of its launch. The three-wheeler has seen unprecedented success in both the rural and urban segments.
What this achievement has done is accelerated the company’s launch of BS6 products.
Notably, the recent growth of e-commerce in the country and also last-mile transportation due to the acceleration of activities in the economic landscape in rural India has undoubtedly helped the three-wheeler cargo category to grow.
The fact that transitioning from diesel to CNG has happened in the country at a brisk pace and Bajaj Auto being a torchbearer in it has certainly helped the company to achieve a leadership position.
