The new product, as per him, truly combines the best of both worlds. The range, which is built on the 6016 R LPO 12.4 m chassis of Eicher, comes equipped with the reliable 5.1-liter VEDX5 engine taken out from Volvo Group’s global powertrain family.

It has the capability of delivering maximum power of 210 HP and flat torque of 825 Nm @ 1200-1600 rpm.

Akash Passey, President of the Bus Division of VECV says that due to the national permit being rolled out, operators are looking out to take the services of high-quality buses which can reliably cover longer distances.

He adds that this new product is indeed a perfect answer to the rapidly evolving market.
