Volvo Trucks North America dealer, Vanguard Truck Centers, has announced that it has acquired Charlotte-based Advantage Truck Centers as well as Advantage Truck Leasing.

Vanguard is one of the leading sales and leasing dealer groups of Volvo Trucks which is located across Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina.

The acquisition of Advantage will ensure the expansion of Vanguard’s authorised Volvo Trucks dealership to another three locations in North Carolina, namely Charlotte, Greensboro, and Hickory.

The expanded group will now have 900 employees and 360 dedicated bays for Volvo Trucks, and an inventory of extensive parts.

It will now be one of the largest and leading operators in the Volvo network. Peter Voorhoeve, who is the president of Volvo Trucks North America, says that the addition of Advantage Centers will go on to strengthen the position of Vanguard as one of the largest dealer groups in North America.

He adds that both Vanguard and Advantage have been phenomenal ambassadors of the Volvo Trucks brand with more than 25 years of dedication to improving customer-dealership relationships, performance, safety, and service.
