Maruti Suzuki, which is India’s largest automaker, has announced that its light commercial vehicle Super Carry has crossed a cumulative unit sales of 1,00,000 vehicles in the last five years right from its launch.
Interestingly, Super Carry is the only electric mini-truck in India, that has a four-cylinder engine and is used as a pickup and mini loading truck. Super Carry was launched in 2016 and has been available in both petrol and CNG variants.
Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India, says that in a very short period, the vehicle has received a phenomenal reception from the market and has found unparalleled acceptance from the customers.
As per him, the S-CNG variant of this vehicle has helped businesses enhance their bottom line due to an exceptional mileage of 21.55 km/kg.
Super Carry has proven that mini trucks are indeed powerful, easy on maintenance, comfortable, and profitable too.
