Piaggio And MoEVing Ink Pact For Supply of EV’s

Commercial vehicle maker Piaggio Vehicles, in a press release, has confirmed that it has partnered with EV Fleet operator MoEVing for inducting electric vehicles.

The EV fleet operator plans to add 500 Piaggio Ape’ E-Xtra FX to the existing fleet by next year. The partnership will accelerate the adoption of e-three wheelers in the country through an integrated approach of supply optimization, demand aggregation, and connected charging infrastructure.

As per Saju Nair, EVP for CV Business, Piaggio, the recently launched cargo variant Ape ‘E-Xtra FX has received a tremendous response from the customers and through this partnership with MoEVing, their efforts will further amplify towards creating sustainable and affordable last-mile solutions as far as goods movement space is concerned.

As per the company, this electric variant will be the most powerful electric cargo in the segment having a 9.5 KW power output. It has a proven full metal body that has a useful 6 feet cargo deck length. Vikash Mishra, founder of MoEVing said that they are honored to partner with Piaggio, who are pioneers in last-mile mobility space.

Of the many key attributes that Ape’E-Xtra brings to the table is a lower cost of operation and quality. Vikas adds, that they are aiming to increase their Ape E-Xtra fleet to 500 vehicles and shall deploy them across the country for last-mile order delivery.
