Tesla’s Cybertruck prototype with an updated design has been spotted at the EV makers Fremont factory test track.
In an interesting incident, a YouTuber flying a drone over Tesla’s Fremont facility spotted the prototype of the new Cybertruck on the test track right behind the plant.
The YouTuber, it seems captured ten minutes of footage of the testing of the new electric pickup truck.
Significantly, the prototype appears to be brand new, with some tapes holding the trims and cables together. The new Cybertruck, it seems, features side mirrors, something which the prototype was not equipped with.
Tesla did plan to install side cameras feed on to the screens inside the truck if the regulations allow it on doing so.
The Cybertruck was unveiled by Tesla back in 2019, and it’s been the longest time that only one prototype of the electric truck has been spotted in Tesla events.
The vehicle program has been delayed, and production is now expected in 2022. With this happening, the EV giant is expected to update the electric pickup truck and equip it with more features and an updated design
