A company called PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) has signed a deal with four Indonesian businesses to test out an electric commercial vehicle (EV) called the Minicab–MiEV, which is already sold in Japan.
MMKSI will give the Minicab–MiEV to the four companies- PT Pos Indonesia, PT Haleyora Power, Gojek, and DHL Supply Chain Indonesia for six months for research and use in their logistical operations in the Jabodetabek area, as per the provisions of the MoU.
By confirming actual usage data, such as distance, charge history, and delivery routes, this study intends to better discover and understand commercial EV applications.
As per Naoya Nakamura, PT MMKSI President-Ditector, they are grateful to the major company collaborators, PT Pos Indonesia, PT Haleyora Power, Gojek, and DHL Supply Chain Indonesia, as well as the Indonesian government, for their enthusiastic support of the joint study.
Nakamoura further adds that they intend to explore the expanded use of Mitsubishi Motors’ electrified commercial vehicles all across the country through this project.
