Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks and Bus Corporation has announced the customer handover of its 30000th FUSO Truck in Taiwan through a local joint venture and distributor, Daimler Trucks Asia Taiwan Ltd.- DTAT.
There are plans to arrange a handover ceremony later this month to celebrate this extremely delightful feat.
The vehicle has been purchased by Yi Kung Construction Co., which is a full-service real estate development and construction organization.
The company, which already has 15 FUSO vehicles in its fleet, will soon be home to light-duty canter PRO 5 that will contribute to its daily construction operations.
The FUSO has a long heritage in the Taiwanese market, which began with the induction of the B46 light bus, way back in 1936.
It has been a leader in the commercial vehicle market share for the last 29 consecutive years.
The DTAT has a lot to do with the leadership position that FUSO has achieved due to continuous upgrades to its facilities as well impeccable service levels across the island.
DTAT has also focused immensely on community-building initiatives like the annual FUSO Heroes event.
They have for the last four years, conducted a customer appreciation campaign that aims to felicitate those who have contributed to Taiwanese society.
Initiatives such as these have indeed gone a long way in DTAT achieving a market share of 32% in 2020.
