LaserShip & OnTrac Merge To Create Coast-To-Coast Parcel Carrier Network

LaserShip, an east U.S.-based e-commerce parcel carrier, is planning to merge with OnTrac Logistics, which is a parcel logistics company that operates primarily in the western USA.

As expected, the combined company will have its footprint spread across the U.S.

As per Josh Dinneen, the Chief Commercial Officer of LaserShip, the combined network of both the companies would ensure two-day shipping to 74% of the total U.S population and will also present 100 sorting and delivery hubs, a solution that doesn’t exist outside FedEx and UPS.

According to a press release by the LaserShip officials, the newly formed company will be the only national e-commerce solution in the last mile delivery and will also enhance its customer’s ability to meet the growing aspirations of the consumer delivery market in the U.S.

However, due to the festive season and the expectations that tag along with it, both LaserShip and OnTrac will not begin their combined operations until 2022 and shall operate the way they are doing right now.

LaserShip offers last-mile delivery solutions to Eastern and Mid-West U.S, while OnTrac has a phenomenal existence in California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, and Idaho.
