IndiGo Gets Delivery of Ashok Leyland’s Ultra Low Floor CNG Buses

Hinduja Group’s flagship brand, Ashok Leyland, delivered ten units of ultra low floor buses to InterGlobe Aviation for its operations at the Delhi Airport.

These CNG tarmac coaches are equipped with iGene6 BS-VI technology, and have a 216 hp H series CNG engine that is bound to deliver improved safety, lower cost of ownership and comfort.

As per Sanjeev Kumar, Head of M&HCV of Ashok Leyland, the buses have automatic transmission and full air suspension and happen to be a part of the company’s expanding fuel product range.

They have been developed by the in-house R&D team at Ashok Leyland and introduce leading innovations in the mobility spectrum.

Sanjeev added that they shall continue to roll out more innovative products and solutions that are in line with the market demand, therefore helping them to achieve their vision of being in the Top 10 CV makers globally.

The spokesperson from InterGlobe said that Ashok Leyland has been their trusted partner for tarmac buses and they are once again pleased to induct the CNG buses in their fleet at the Delhi airport.
