Solis Yanmar, a tractor manufacturer that began selling in India two years ago, has surpassed the 13,000 sales mark in the country just two years after launching.
International Tractors Ltd. has been growing its supremacy in the agriculture market since its founding, capitalising on 100 years of Japanese technology to stay a century ahead of the competition.
To recap, Solis Yanmar launched the YM3 tractor line in India, followed by the Solis Hybrid—India’s first hybrid tractor—and has since grown its dealer network to over 250 locations around the country.
It gives them immense pleasure to share that all of their hard work over the last few years created a solid framework for them to accomplish the historical milestone of the 13,000th tractor roll out within two years of their Indian market presence, said Raman Mittal, JMD, Solis Yanmar.
He added that their joint venture with Yanmar is still getting results, and they are well positioned to capitalise on Japan’s 100-year technology legacy and keep innovating for another 100 years.
As the new fiscal year begins, they are well prepared to ensure that the ‘Future is Now’ for Indian farmers, thanks to their strong No. 1 position throughout seven European countries and the Global 4WD tractor line.
