,Indian tyre major, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has launched its eco range of products for domestic and international markets as per an investor presentation made by the company.
JK Tyre has registered 21% of its consolidated revenue, amounting to Rs. 2986 crore from exports in the second quarter that ended on September 30.
As part of their growth strategy, they are now reaching out to geographical locations such as Europe, South Africa and Australia with an array of products.
As per the company, the management remains fully committed when it comes to implementing its strategy for further expanding its market and at the same time gaining a significant market share.
The company plans to focus on increasing volumes across its product segments. It is also expanding its distribution network via exclusive brand shops across the country to increase market share.
The first half of the fiscal has seen more than 500 dealers added across India. As many as 6000 dealers and 500 distributors are there with JK Tyre today, along with tie-ups with 870 fleet operators and three oil companies.
To make inroads into the online arena, the company has tied up with Amazon and ITC e-Choupal for a rural connect and has also partnered with auto portal Car Dekho and TyrePlex.
On the strategy to increase global business share, the company is launching the eco range of products, especially for cars and buses that will come fitted with low rolling resistance tyres in the domestic and international market space.
