As per European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, the new commercial registrations in Croatia have increased by an annual 31%, i.e. 6617 units in the first eight months of this year.
On the other hand, the registrations for new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes went up to 28.5% with total units of 5585 sold in as many months.
When it comes to registration of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of above 3.5 tonnes, there has been a significant increase of 53.5% with 927 units.
When it comes to the entire EU, excluding Malta, new commercial vehicle registrations increased by 24% with 1,292,628 vehicles YOY till August.
As far as EU-12 is concerned, which comprises of member states who have joined EU since 2004, registration was 40.3% higher at a figure of 170,255.
Bulgaria, on the other hand too saw an increase in registration of new commercial vehicles by 55.9%, with 6944 vehicles sold till August of 21.
As far as new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes go, there was a surge of 55.7% YOY to 4783 units.
In the case of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of more than 3.5 tonnes, there was an increase of 63.5% to 2053 units.
