Charging Hubs Put In Place By Magenta For Commercial Fleet Vehicles

The charge point operator company, Magenta has set up six electric vehicle charging hubs for commercial vehicles across Bengaluru in India.

The EV charging hub that has over 150 charging points will be synced with the ChargeGrid Smart app, which is available on iOS as well as Android marketplace.

It will help enable the EV owners to keep track of the real-time availability of the charging stations and book slots. It will also allow fleet operators, big or small, to pay for EV charging points over the internet.

These EV charging hubs from Magenta will have a control panel, specifically designed for the fleet operators that will help manage and supervise the charging state, its schedule as well as the schedule of vehicle service.

Founder and MD of Magenta, Maxson Lewis, is of an opinion that companies, especially the ones from e-commerce, are driving the commitment when it comes to electric vehicles in the last mile delivery space.

EV charging hubs will always play a significant role not only in operational efficiency but also in the success of the fleet.

He further says that they have built charging infrastructure in areas that have the highest last-mile distribution hubs.

The charge point operator company, has already partnered with e-commerce and logistic companies that range from Porter to Amazon India, and also Big Basket to Udaan.

The company also has many first’s to its credit which includes solar-powered EV charging stations, the country’s first charging corridor on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and the app, ChargeGrid, an all integrated and automated system of all charging hubs on mobile.
