The Treo auto, Treo Zor Delivery Van, Treo Tipper variant, e Alfa Mini Tipper variant, as well as the Atom quadricycle – the new age electric urban mobility solution for smart India’s last mile connectivity needs – are all on display at the Pune Alternate Fuel Conclave, showcasing Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited’s wide range of electric vehicles.
With a market share of 73.4% in the electric 3-wheeler category, Mahindra is the market leader.
The Atom, India’s only electric quadricycle, is being shown for the first time after the 2020 Auto Expo. The Atom has been developed to connect to a new India and will redefine last-mile connectivity. It has a good mix of clean, comfy, and smart features.
It boasts a roomy interior and is powered by Mahindra’s latest electric motor system. Furthermore, the unibody offers inhabitants a secure environment.
Atom also includes telematics connectivity for more efficient fleet management. Atom is expected to be released this fiscal year.
Pune is an auto hub, according to Maharashtra State Environment and Tourism Minister, Aaditya Thackeray, and hence a suitable destination for the summit.
The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), and the State Chamber of Commerce Industry, and Agriculture are collaborating to host the conference.
The organisers have arranged for an RTO station to ensure hassle-free vehicle registration, as well as bank kiosks to continue providing convenient financing alternatives. Including the Atom, the Mahindra e Alfa Mini Tipper will be shown for the first time to the general public.
The car is built on the e Alfa Mini chassis, which has been shown to be successful and durable. The vehicle is unique in that it features a divider that separates the wet and dry rubbish.
It has a tracking device and a 7-degree gradeability. The angle of inclination is 40 degrees. The e Alfa Mini Tipper has a peak power of 1.5 kW and a range of 80 kilometres on a single charge. It has a 310-kilogram load capacity.
The Mahindra Treo Tipper is another three-wheeler EV that is making its public debut. Without the garbage bin, this lithium-ion 3-wheeler has a payload of 578 kg and is based on the renowned Mahindra Treo chassis.
The Treo Tipper also has the best power and torque in the industry, at 8 kW and 42 Nm, respectively.
The charging time for a full charge is only 3 hours and 50 minutes. A three-year, 80,000-kilometer warranty is also available.
