Ashok Leyland’s ICV ecomet STAR Launched With Additional Features

Ashok Leyland, the Indian commercial vehicle maker, has come up with its all-new ICV- intermediate commercial vehicle called ecomet STAR, which has additional features to cater to the 11T to 16T GVW ICV segment.

The company said in a statement that this vehicle is said to provide higher fluid efficiency, lower maintenance, longer service intervals, as well as better tire life.

The statement added that with these features, the ecomet STAR offers the best in class TCO-Total Cost Ownership for the fleet owners. According to Sanjay Saraswat, President MHCV for Ashok Leyland, the ICV segment is seeing a surge in its demand as the economy is opening now.

He further said that to meet the customer needs, they shall continue to expand their existing product portfolio.

This vehicle is a differentiated product as it reduces the turnaround time for the logistic sector and also comes with features that improve the safety of drivers, deliver a better TAT for the fleet owners, and therefore result in best-in-class Total Cost Ownership.
