‘We Care For You’ - a unique customer engagement initiative by Indian Oil

IndianOil has launched a unique initiative to interact with customers at their fuel stations and get their feedback to enhance service standards and facilities. The initiative has been aptly called ‘We Care For You’ wherein IndianOil officers, from groups other than Retail Sales have volunteered to spend time at a retail outlet. The volunteers will help the dealers and staff with the operations at the outlet and interact with customers that will not only boost customer convenience, but will also bring in a fresh perspective to IndianOil’s endeavours to provide best-in-class service.

Inaugurating the programme with much fanfare at M/s Fort Motors, in Goregaon, Mr. B. S. Canth, Director (Marketing), IndianOil, said, “Interaction of employees with customers at the Point of Sale is an effective employee engagement tool. This initiative has dual benefits – nurturing the brand with increased visibility and helping our employees understand customer psyche.”

The team will continue to work closely with the field force, dealers, and customer attendants to better the services rendered at IndianOil outlets and make every interaction with the customers a memorable one. Launched on a pilot basis in Mumbai, ‘We Care For You’ will soon be extended to IndianOil retail outlets in other major cities.

With over 25,000 fuel outlets spread across the country, IndianOil has the largest customer interface among the commercial organizations in India. This initiative is in line with IndianOil’s core values – Care, Innovation, Passion, and Trust – and is yet another endeavor to reach out to its customers and provide an effective two way communication channel.
